| hey everybody it's been a while since I last blogged. Damn what a crazy work schedule! So far been working at the new company for almost a year. Been pretty good and the people are pretty cool. Just sitting here eating my lunch (yummy hotpockets) and just chilling. Other than that heard that Steve has decided to move back - most unfortunate - and he will be missed. Who's going to organize or paintballing excursions?? Haha well hope we can play one las time if time permits.
In other new Aanjae is coming to the lovely age of 2. She is so adorable!! Can't wait for her little dinner party. Will have to post pictures later. | | |

Anime Expo has finally ended and we met up one final time for food before we prepared ourselves for the journey from Nerd0m to OC. Thinking back at the good times and how many different people and thoughts come together. A good meal at Suihero in Little Tokyo and then get some snacks from their local shops to make our way home. Kim and Brent in one car, Cang and Steve in another, and our car compromised of Allen (the driver), Michelle (navigator), and me and christian in the back.
We decided to take the 101S to the 5S to make our way home. As we merged onto the 5S from the 101 we then proceeded to move the the fast lane. After about ~10 miles or so we relaxed a bit and just had our little flashbacks of our AX experience - that was all too soon as a loud sound cut into our subconscious minds.
10 seconds...
At the onset our minds raced to put the sound to an image.
8 seconds...
My mind fires on all cylinders as to where it's coming from... front, right, back?
6 seconds...
A car to which hinders any possible explanation as to how it was driving as it did... driving perpendicular to the flow of traffic - directly toward the median.
4 seconds...
Watching as we all suddenly realize that it's a car that's out of control somehow moving as it did from the 4th lane making it's way over to the median.
2 seconds...
It finally reaches the median as it swerves to miss it head on. it's side and rear has been almost totaled; the truck in front of us (think it was like an 81 datsun truck) somehow miraculously slowed and evaded the deathly trap. We were in the process of doing an emergency stop/evasive maneuvers. In my mind all I heard was my own thoughts and that of the out of control car. I believed when I saw it happening all I could say was "OH SHIT!!" At a point between 8 seconds and now, as my wife was recalling it, she said that Michelle was the one that actually notified Allen that it was 1. a car
2. out of control
3. we need to slow down/evade it.

Our turn to evade what was left of the rear left side/trunk area of the car as well as slow from 70/75 to about 5/10mph in this timeframe. Luckily we survived unscratched and alive. The uncontrollable car actually, after hitting the median pretty hard, decided to go back the way it came - perpendicular to the flow of traffic - and to which only marginally missed 3-4 different cars but finally getting hit by a truck in the 4th lane. The car did it's little fish tale to finally come to a halt with the driver looking fairly conscious and uninjured. All I can say is that it could've been a ~5-10 car mixup/accident. Thankfully there were some preeeeetttty good defensive drivers that averted most of the danger. I'm just mind blown as to how the car initially lost control to actually drive perpendicular to the flow of traffic, bounced off the median to go back the same way it came. Whoa. Just freaking crazy. Seriously thank God that we're alive and to Michelle and Allen who averted the danger we faced. Just amazing.
I seriously couldn't get that out of my mind for the remainder of the day... probably had an effect on my sleep too. Now I can finally put it to rest. I've seen some crazy accidents before, but nothing to where a out of control car, driving fairly fast, approaches your lane head on to nearly avoid the cars before it and ours and somehow doesn't turn everything into a bad nightmare. word.
But other than that, AX was awesome and i'm sure we all had a great time. Going to make sure I go next year and definitely have a character or two to dress up as. Probably gonna grow out the hair for it too. haha we'll see. =D | | |

With that said should be starting in a couple of weeks. Gonna take a week off or so to regroup and try and prepare myself for the lovely 11p - 7:30a shift. Anyways, that's all the news for now. yay!

| Hello peeoples! it's been a while since i've last posted something. Was in the work on my blog/website, but we'll see where that goes. Still working on it. In other news, just doing the usual. Although did get two items that's been on my watch list - earphones and a GPS unit. So far I got Vibe V-Moda's earphones. They work pretty good. Cheap too. The second item on the list is harman/kardon GPS-810. 4.3" screen, bluetooth, speakerphone, FM Transmitter, remote control, picture, video and music player. So far so good. The only thing is it doesn't have the most current maps. we'll see how it goes.
Anyways, onto the main topic. Aanjae is turning 1 yr old SOON! AAAH! so fast!!! So we sent out an evite to those we had an email for, those that did not, please let me know via Xanga or email @ chiba2142@gmail.com and we'll send it ur way or something. Anyways, we were playing - errr actually I was - and was thinking about modifying the opening email to something like this:
